We are finally home after a LONG week of traveling.
We left on Tuesday morning for Massena, NY. We spent Tuesday night on the East side of Toronto and got up Wednesday morning and drove the last 5 hours to Massena. Wednesday night was funeral home for visitation and then to bed early. Thursday morning was the funeral, the cemetary service and a luncheon with family before heading 4.5 hours to Toronto.

We spent Thursday night in Toronto, swam in the hotel pool and watched the Pistons beat the Lakers. Friday morning we had a breakfast buffet, walked around downtown Toronto and did some shopping, bought tickets to the Blue Jays game for the evening and had a little rest and relaxation in the hotel. Friday night was the baseball game at the Skydome, followed by a subway ride to the hotel and early to bed.

Today we went to the Hockey Hall of Fame and then headed home. We are all pretty exhausted from driving and traveling, but had nice time these past two days in Toronto. Andy and I figured it was the best way to make something decent out of a long and sad trip.

Tomorrow is laundry and groceries and getting things in order. Grandma will be coming home from her adventure in the afternoon. She went with my Dad and Sue to upstate NY to visit relatives while we all went to the funeral. She will be exhausted too.
