Family

This is a family weekend around here. We spent the morning cleaning house and running errands, usual Saturday stuff for us. This afternoon we went to my brother's house to help him and his wife get ready for the party that follows my newphew Ben's Christening tomorrow. Our boys kept their older two boys occupied, while Grandma held Ben and Andy and I helped cook and clean up for the party. They are expecting about 40 people.

It was a nice day. We cooked and chatted and helped kids find drinks and snacks, played some basketball, set up some picnic tables and shared some pizza. A relaxing, work-filled day that was just about family.

Tomorrow will be the Christening and the party after. There will be lots of family and friends, good food and drink, gifts and cards, neighbors and cousins.
